Welcome to the official site of the Wisconsin Chapter of the
Model A
Ford Club of America (MAFCA). With more
than 300 members, we are among the largest and also the oldest Model A club in
the United States. We are celebrating the birth of our chapter 50 years ago.
From April through October we take our
1928-1931 Ford Model A’s on day trips and weekend driving tours to visit places
of interest, we participate in parades, we participate in a statewide Model A
rally in Wisconsin Rapids, and we hold an annual picnic in August.
During the colder months
of the year we meet monthly indoors, host an annual banquet, and hold evening
technical meets, in which members gather to learn about repairing, operating,
and restoring Model A’s.
Most club members live in
southeastern Wisconsin and own a Model A, but neither is a requirement to join.
All members are welcome to participate in any activity regardless whether they
attend in a Model A or a “modern” car.
Yearly membership
only costs
$25 and includes our award-winning monthly club newsletter. We are a chapter of
the national Model A Ford Club of America, the nation’s largest Model A club.
Membership in the national organization is a separate charge and is recommended.
